Laufen Print Advertising
Despite being market leader within the premium quality bathroom sector, Laufen UK wanted to show their brand commitment to all UK bathroom retailers and increase consumer brand awareness. Hence, Laufen UK decided to significantly increase their advertising presence within specific consumer, design and trade publications. Content varied from typical product adverts, company profiles, product reviews right through to advertorials.
Responsibilities
The initial stage involved myself booking the advertising space direct with the desired publication. Publications were carefully selected after my conversations with internal employees and preferred retailers. Placements were made in-line with an advertising schedule that I had created myself. The next stage involved working with the design agency to create the advertisements. As expected, the concept varied according to the type of placement such as product advert, company profile, designer interview..
Details
My work centred on concept development, messaging, providing images and written content. Before going to print, trials were carried to ensure internal and external buy-in. As always, the final artwork was in line with the Laufen brand guidelines.
Details
The campaign success was then measured through customer footfall, retailer orders and advertising recall rates. Such positive results showed that the campaign had achieved its strategic objectives (brand awareness, sales and customer relationships).
